FABRICATION
With more than 40 years of experiences in the production of stainless-steel tanks and pressure vessels, DIX Engineering has become one of the most recognised and reputable companies in this field. Outside of Stainless Steel DIX Engineering has extensive knowledge in Mild Steel, Aluminium and Cast welding and fabrication.
DIX Engineering has an extensive fabrication workshop facilities to allow efficient and quality fabrication. With this the team is capable of fabricating tanks, vessels, manifolds, food processing equipment, farm machinery, and structures across light, medium and heavy grades of specialized structural fabrication.
Our team of qualified welders are fully equipped and have the expertise to weld complete structural and pressure welding works in accordance with Australian Standards (AS1554.1 and AS3992) and project specifications. DIX Engineering can also provide all documentation required such as Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS), associated Procedure Qualification Records (PQR) and Welder Qualification Records (WQR).
MACHINING
Typical machining that our machinist do on a daily basis includes but is not limited to:
- Bush and Sleeve replacements
- Shafts and Seal replacements
- Pump reconditioning
- Surface Milling and Grinding of a vast range of components
